I imagine this fantasy polearm being used by a mage in a high fantasy game. The polearm has thin curved blades, a long sturdy shaft with handgrips along the length to avoid hand slippage. The decorative point in the center makes a nice focal point.

This was from one of my first modeling classes. Sorry, I don't have concept art for it. I just had a mental image and went with it. Every art teacher i've ever had has said that I shouldn't work like that, but it is my favorite thing to do. I will admit though, that it saves a ton of time when reference images and concept art are used. Many rabbit holes are avoided.
